Festival Advertising - 2007

We welcome advertising in our Film Festival, and we encourage you to check out our festival attendance and demographics to illustrate the value that advertising in our festival provides.. There are two advertising mechanisms - our Festival Program Guide and On-Screen Preshow. Below you will find the specifications and pricing for each.

Some corporate sponsorship levels include one or more of these as part of the standard sponsor benefits package. Please refer to our Corporate Sponsor Benefits as you may find them more cost effective.

Contact our Advertising Coordinator for complete information at or please fill out the Advertising Request Form and return it with art work to the following address by August 15.

Festival Program Guide Advertising

In addition to being provided to every festival audience member, our Festival Program Guides are also distributed within the community (at bars and other local establishments) prior to the festival, increasing the potential circulation and exposure.

Advertising specifications and other information can be found below. To insure the highest quality Program Guide, OUT TAKES Dallas will only accept ads in the following formats:

- Mac Illustrator or Illustrator .eps, .pdf, .jpg, Photoshop TIFF, InDesign. Make sure all text is converted to outlines...we cannot guarantee the fonts will come out correctly if they are not.
- Resolution information should be included - Make sure all ads are 300 dpi at 100%, and that all Full Color ads are submitted in CMYK color mode.
- Please include hard copy for proofing.

Because we are a non-profit organization, we require that advertisers include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if they wish to have their media returned after the Festival.

Festival On-Screen Advertising

We also offer On-Screen advertising, similar to normal movie theater preshow advertising. We guarantee at least one 10-15 second viewing prior to every festival show (and in many cases there will be 2 or 3). This is a great way to guarantee that your message will be seen by the vast majority of our filmgoers. We encourage creative or humerous on-screen advertising content to maximize the impact in a group setting.
