(9-18-06) OUT TAKES Dallas ANNOUNCES FILM SCHEDULE AND RELEASE PARTY
OUT TAKES Dallas, the Lesbian and Gay Film Festival presented by driversselect, is pleased to announce its 2006 film schedule which is posted online at www.outtakesdallas.org. Celebrating its eighth year, the Festival will be held at the Magnolia Theater in the West Village from Friday, October 27 through Sunday, November 5, 2006.
Our 2005 Films continue to receive attention as many of them are now being shown in theater runs or TV:
- Unveiled left our festival in November for a release in New York
- Little Man has inked a deal with Showtime
- Hate Crime opened in New York in January
- Gay Sex in the 70's premiered in New York and has been to Houston and soon to Dallas
- Summer Storm is currently in theaters
- Almost Normal, Producing Adults and Hard Pill are being shown on Logo
- Several of our Short Films, including Recruiting, Prom-troversy, Seeing You In Circles, Dani and Alice, 100% Woman and Billy's Dad is a Fudgepacker have been featured on a Logo Short Films segment
